After the Workout

Okay, you've played follow the leader through some nasty problems and you've played around on your favorite boulder problems. It's getting dark, so it must be time to go home. Too bad.

WRONG!! There's more.

There's the bars, for example. While doing boulder problems, you may have noticed the kids swinging back and forth on the bars. You can do that, too, but it can be very painful if you do too much.

Mark highly recommends doing several sets of pullups. Fred thinks that's too painful, too.

Then find yourself a flat patch of wood and do some stomach crunches and/or situps. Fred highly recommends this. Mark thinks it's too painful, perhaps because... Well, just in case you ever go climbing with us, I shouldn't tell you.

After that, if you still have a few ATP floating around in your muscles, you can try dips on the parallel bars or pushups wherever you did situps.

Congratulations! You're almost done! You still have drive home, but that's not so bad, because you've got power steering. (You do, don't you?)

On your way back, be sure to stop by a gas station to pick up some treats. It's both tasty and traditional!
