Joe Rogan has also suggested that he gets a kick out of watching The Mentalist. According to a press release from the Associated Press, Joe Rogan is the latest in a long line of actors to state that they get vaccines for the flu and for the common cold. Many fans are calling the new podcast The Good Doctor a brain dead show and stating that it doesn’t offer any new ideas for treating disorders of the mind.
Recently, in an internet search I did to look for evidence that Joe Rogan was correct about the health benefits of meditation and the connection between that and the various ailments of the mind, I came across a rather interesting theory involving Joe Rogan’s beliefs about the Japanese culture. According to the theory, Joe Rogan saw a similarity between the life span of the Japanese karate master and the author, Yujiaki Aoyagi, who wrote the best seller The Long Knife. The book was supposed to explain why Aoyagi could be able to live so long, even into his nineties. Additionally, it discussed how the brain is linked to various different parts of the body, including the brain, and how the body, and mind, can be connected to one another in some manner. Aoyagi’s book also discussed how many of the aches and pains we experience during the years are related to tension within the body, as well as the mind. So, it seems that Joe Rogan may have found his best evidence that meditation can treat the body and mind and protect against illness.
